How to determine the IP code?
The IP code has two digits. The code range is from IP0X to IPX9. The range of the first digit is 0 to 6. This is entry protection for entities. The range of the second number is 0-9. This is a protective measure to prevent liquid from entering. The two digits in the access protection mark code are completely independent of each other.
The IP rating of some devices only needs to be one of two digits. If only liquids and not solids are tested, the solid numbers can have an "x". This is why the test is sometimes referred to as the IPX test. Given these parameters, there will be 70 intrusion prevention code combinations. Provide some IP code examples:
IP 67 test: The test item is dustproof and provides immersion protection up to 1 meter.
IPx4 test: The product has not been tested for solids, but it can provide splash water protection.
